On the “last mile” of the IoT connection mass terminal, the density of the equipment deployment is high, and the trend of the coexistence of the multi-network and the multi-protocol is particularly prominent. The application requirements are diversified, the network terminals are isomerization, and operation and maintenance space is homogenized, which has become an inevitable trend in the development of Internet of Things technologies and applications. How to make heterogeneous networks coexist harmoniously and then interconnected is the first problem that the Internet of Things needs to solve in the process of large-scale application. This report will present the latest developments in IoT cross-domain communication technology research and explore future research spaces.
He Yuan, Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor of Tsinghua University, is a winner of the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Youth Fund. His research interests include Internet of Things, wireless networks, mobile and pervasive computing, etc. His research work has received national research funds such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key R&D Program, and the 973 Program Young Scientists, and the National Grid, Huawei, Tencent, Siemens, etc. He is the editor of the ACM Internet of Things Journal (TIOT) and the editorial board of the English Department of Computer Science and Technology (JCST), the chair of the program committee of international conferences such as EWSN2019 and DCOSS2018, and INFOCOM, WWW, SenSys, IPSN, ICDCS, SECON, Members of the International Conference Program Committee, such as EWSN and IoTDI. He had published more than 100 papers and won the Best Paper Awards from several international conferences.
