Prof. Lin Hongfei is a doctoral supervisor of School of Computer Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology. His main research fields are natural language processing, affective computing, social media processing, and medical text mining. He is the Executive Director of the Chinese Information Society of China, the Deputy Director of the Social Media Processing Committee, and the Deputy Director of the Medical Health and Biological Information Processing Committee. He is a member of the Chinese Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Director of the Language Intelligence Special Committee, and Deputy Director of the Discrete Intelligent Computing Special Committee as well as the Chairman of Liaoning Computer Basic Education Society. He is also one of the editorial board members of Chinese Journal of Information Technology, Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, Small Micro Computer System, Journal of Dalian University of Technology, etc. He has presided over more than ten projects and won some important awards.
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, how to use machine learning methods to identify and generate humor has become one of the hot research topics in the field of natural language processing, and has gradually formed an emerging research field -- humor computing. Humor computing is committed to using computer means to understand and recognize textual expressions that contain humor, tap the potential semantic meaning of humorous expressions, build a humorous expression-based computing model, realize automatic recognition and generation of humor, and improve the intelligence of human-computer interaction.
All are welcome.
