[News from News Center]Recently, the National Postdoctoral Management Committee Office issued the results of 2017 “Hong Kong Scholars Program”. 60 applicants and 8 alternate candidates from the national universities, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units were enrolled. Dr. Shidong Feng from YSU stood out and won the 2017 National Postdoctoral "Hong Kong Scholars Program” funding; besides, he would enter Hong Kong Polytech University to carry out postdoctoral research. What’s more, he was the only person that was selected in Hebei Province.
"Hong Kong Scholars Program" aims to effectively integrate the Mainland and Hong Kong's resources, cultivate talents for the Mainland, and at the same time promote the development of science and technology of Hong Kong. “Hong Kong Scholars Program” plans to send Mainland Doctors to Hong Kong universities each year to conduct postdoctoral research under the guidance of a mentor for two years with a subsidy of 150,000 yuan and 150,000 Hong Kong dollars per person per year.
