[News from the News Center] From Apr. 22nd to 25th, the 1st Digital China Summit was inaugurated in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The programs of China College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were exhibited on the summit. YSU SHINY VR team stood out from over 500 prize-winning programs in previous consecutive competitions and as the only team from Hebei Province invited to the summit.

Based on the independently developed SYVR engine, SHINY VR provides enterprises with integrated virtual reality solutions including large-scale complex scene simulation, virtual assembly, virtual experiments, data visualization, and other complete solutions, and builds the interactive virtual simulation system for the complete process of assembly experiment platform. By comprehensively utilizing the SHINY VR virtual reality overall solution from the design concept to the full life cycle of assembly experiment training, plenty of time and labor costs can be saved and more economic benefits be brought to the enterprises. The excellent features such as the rendering of super realistic images and the intelligent processing of mechanical model data were highly appreciated by the exhibition guests. YSU SHINY VR team put forward an overall virtual reality solution at the conference, the virtual reality technology reflected in which has sound application prospects and excellent performance. The solution has received high praise and recognition from industry peers, guests and leaders of the Ministry of Education.

The 1st Digital China Summit is cosponsored by the Cyberspace Administration of China, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Fujian Provincial People's Government. On the opening ceremony, the congratulatory letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping was read out. Huang Kunming, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Publicity Department, attended the opening ceremony of the summit and delivered a keynote speech. Themed by “Sharing Digital China Dream and Create a New Digital Future”, the China College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to build an exhibition and exchange platform for outstanding projects in the competition to demonstrate the achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities, thus to further promote the competition achievements transformation. A total of 104 projects from 76 colleges and universities of 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions participated in the exhibition. All of them were innovative, exemplary, and leading. Meanwhile, they have social value to lead entrepreneurship with innovation, promote employment with entrepreneurship, and facilitate accurate poverty alleviation and green development.
