Jin Hailong, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Shang Xuemei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Liren College attended the competition. The on-site judges consisted of 13 “Internet +” college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition judges, investors and enterprise experts. There were 58 projects with more than 200 students in this competition. The opening ceremony of the contest was hosted by Shang Xuemei.
In his speech, Shang Xuemei pointed out that in recent years, our university has continuously improved relevant institutional mechanisms in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education, in-depth promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and continuously increased investment in innovation and entrepreneurship education, and achieved relatively satisfactory results. She encouraged the students here to strive to improve and perfect the competition project, which is a token of gifts for our university’s centennial celebration.
The competition in session
Since the launch of the “Internet +” competition in April, it has gone through three stages: the school competition, the school-level network judging competition, and the school-level on-site roadshow. Our university has declared a total of 1241 projects, with 7,320 students participating in the competition. After the end of the competition at university level, the Academic Affairs Office would organize a provincial competition online. Since then, the Academic Affairs Office would also invite experts to carry out a number of rounds of project training and practical guidance for the project team, and strive to achieve good results in this year's provincial competition.
