[News from News Center] Recently, “Research and Application of Reservoir Dynamic Monitoring Serial Technologies under Multi-Displacement”, the research project of Prof. Lingfu Kong and Yingwei Li’s scientific research team, School of Information Science and Engineering cooperating with Logging & Testing Services Company of Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd, won First Prize of Science & Technology Progress Award from China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF). The award from CPCIF aims to motivate the initiative and creativity, and honor scientists, engineers and units who make outstanding contribution to petroleum and chemical industry technology. After expert online evaluation, discussion, and First Prize defense, 20 First Prizes, 49 Second Prizes and 78 Third Prizes of Science & Technology Progress Award were approved, among which the First Prizes projects are qualified to apply for 2018 National Prize for Science and Technology Progress.

Relying on over 20 state-level, provincial, corporate cooperation projects, including the 11th and 12th 5-year Plan National Science and Technology Major Project and National Natural Science Foundation, “Research and Application of Reservoir Dynamic Monitoring Serial Technologies under Multi-Displacement” formed cutting-edge serial original technologies aiming at multi-displacement with independent intellectual property rights, which promotes the technological progress of well-logging industry.
During the research, more than 100 papers were published under the cooperation between Prof. Lingfu Kong and Yingwei Li’s scientific research team and Engineering cooperating with Logging & Testing Services Company of Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd. 1 monograph was published; 4 authorized invention patents, 16 utility model patents and 7 software copyrights were completed; and 6 industry standards and 10 corporate standards were released. 110 production performance detection logging instruments were developed, thus achieving the transformation of industrialization results, and the marketization maturity reached return level.
In recent years, YSU faculty and students focused on the combination of scientific topics and needs of national key industry, took the advantage of discipline research, exploited actively, solved research problems in production and technology areas, thus making major progress for Chinese economic development. This prize is the highest that YSU has obtained in petroleum and chemical industry in recent years.
