This award is meant to be a major breakthrough made by YSU in this high-level international event. It proves that SFS did a good job in the postgraduate program of translation by “promoting learning through competition”, “building a solid foundation and strengthening practice”. Furthermore, this success also fueled the enthusiasm of students, thus being of great significance for promoting the translation major in SFS.

The 33rd Han Suyin International Translation Contest was co-hosted by the Translators Association of China (TAC) and Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and co-organized by the Editorial Office of Chinese Translators Journal and the School of Interpreting and Translation, BISU.
