He envisioned that all faculty and students would deeply comprehend the essence, historical evolution, and relevance of the national flag, profoundly understanding the emotional connections between revolutionary martyrs, founding figures, reform pioneers, and the country and nation, recognizing the CPC as the most steadfast advocate and practitioner of patriotism. Zhao expressed his hope that they would embed a profound love for the Party, the country, and socialism in their hearts. He encouraged them to cultivate an accurate understanding of history, ethnicity, and country, and to steadfastly follow the CPC and its guidance. The second was to remain true to the original aspiration while fostering a sincere sense of responsibility to the country. He urged every faculty member and student to respect and care for the national flag, safeguarding its dignity and using it appropriately. Additionally, he encouraged them to feel a growing sense of patriotism each time they view the flag. He hoped they would align their personal goals with those of the nation and its people, uphold their values, and strive to achieve lofty life aspirations while working collaboratively towards a shared future with the nation. The third was to take resolute action to embrace responsibility and serve the country with determination. He urged all faculty and students to closely link patriotism with responsibility, demonstrating their loft and profound commitment to the nation through diligent and practical actions. Zhao believed that every faculty member should embody the spirit of educators, harbor the aspiration to “devote themselves to teaching and contribute to building China into a thriving country.” He encouraged them to strive to be dedicated “educators.” Additionally, he urged all students to hone their skills and enhance their abilities, fulfilling their commitment to “making meaningful contributions to building a strong country.” Zhao envisioned them growing into aspiring, responsible, and resilient young talents, ready to take on the challenges of their era.
