Xu Jianpei said that the purpose of this conference is to further promote the implementation of the proposal made by provincial Secretary Dongfeng and Governor for YSU’s construction of “Double-first class university” and high-quality development in order to make new and greater contributions to building an innovative country and Hebei province. It is hoped that YSU can take the opportunity to implement specific measures and strive to achieve the “Double-first class university” construction goals.
Peng Yan, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Wang Limin, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Liu Riping, Director of theState Key Laboratory of Meta-stable Materials Science and Technologyrespectively analyzed the current situation of the two disciplines and national key laboratories of our university.
Academician Tian Yongjun said that as a teacher, he is very grateful to the provincial party committee and the provincial government for their enormous support for YSU to be selected as “Double-first Class” university. He said it was time for YSUState Key Laboratory of Meta-stable Materials Science and Technology to reap the harvestafter more than ten years of steady development. He hoped that the government would further support the development of the laboratory. YSU leadership had reported to the conference respectively.
Xu Jianpei said that he was deeply inspired by the speeches, and the provincial party committee and the provincial government will fully support the construction of “Double-first Class” university. He spoke highly of YSU’s spirit. He hoped that our university would continue to carry forward the fine traditions, and strengthen the scientific research ability to achieve the triumph.
Zhao Xianfeng said that the provincial party committee and the provincial government clearly support the construction of “Double-first Class” university, which gave us tremendous encouragement. We hope that our government can support the development of YSU and YSU national laboratories. We will never disappoint those who have been supporting YSU’s development.
