YSU’s success at the 2025 RAICOM Robot Developer Competition is built on solid campus preparation. Ahead of the national event, the university stages the Fourth YSU RoboCom Robot Developer Competition and the 2025 RAICOM Campus Trials, organized by the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education with the School of Electrical Engineering and the Engineering Training Center. The campus trials draw wide participation, fostering innovation and competition, and serve as a training ground that helps develop talent and paves the way for national honors.

YSU’s strong showing highlights its commitment to innovation, practical training, and industry–education integration. Looking ahead, YSU will continue to expand competition platforms, boost student innovation, and prepare versatile engineers to support the growth of China’s intelligent technology industry.

The 2025 RAICOM Robot Developer Competition, a national robotics contest co-hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Organizing Committee of the RoboCom International Open, is included in the National Ranking of Undergraduate Competitions. This year’s edition, themed “Robots Caring for Humans”, spans four tracks: CAIA (Digital Culture and Creativity), CAIR (Engineering Contest), CAIM (Engineering Maker), and CAIP (IT Innovation). Open to full-time university students nationwide, the contest features provincial and regional preliminaries from May to July and a national final in August in Hangzhou and other cities. Winners receive provincial and national honors as well as qualification for the finals, while also contributing to advances in artificial intelligence and robotics through technology transfer and stronger industry–education integration.
