First，Dr. Sebastian Pawlus will shortly explainthe reasonwhy the high-pressure dielectric investigations are important for understanding properties of various materials and then the reason why the primary alcohols are so important in studies of H-bonded materials. Then he will present results from the high pressure measurements of various monohydroxy alcohols. In the end, He will propose that further studies of the alcohols, especially atelevated pressure, be continued.
