About the lecturer: Hu, a famous contemporary writer, is Vice Chairman of Hebei Writers Association and the winner of Lu Xun Literature Prize. He is the original author of novels adapted into movies, includingA FoolandEat Hot Tofu Slowly.In recent years, he published nearly two million words in his novella, such asRouge of Polar Region, A Woman Can FlyandRed Moon. His novellaA Dusk Starting from Noonwon Lu Xun Literature Prize in 2014. It expresses his deep concern for people and serious thinking of life purpose. He walks through the gloomy reality with his ink and directly touches the life and soul, which presents his unique understanding of life.
About the lecture: this lecture is focused on why people read, what to read, and how to read. Hu will talk about his personal experience and interpret classic novels and the profound meaning in them.
