Professor Ronald Betzig (Ron) is Director of the Entrepreneurship Program at Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan, USA. He also has founded businesses in the manufacturing, consulting, and educational sectors.
Ron ispassionateabout forming partnership between businesses and educational institutions in China and the United States, realizing that we can achieve so much more by cooperating and leveraging the strengths of both nations.
About the lecture:On Friday, September 15, Ron will be giving a lecture and holdingan open discussion on Entrepreneurship & Innovation in America. Successful entrepreneurs learn from failures, so it is often helpful to discuss practices that have failed as well as those that have succeeded. Ron’s lecture will provide an overview of many practices employed by successful entrepreneurs in America, including Customer Discovery, Identifying Opportunities, Product Innovation, Risk Management, Teambuilding, Branding, Planning and Scaling of Enterprises. We will also look at some of the failures that well-known entrepreneurs have encountered along the way, and what they have learned from these failures.
