Topic:Study and Application of 3D Fluorescence Method for Identifying Marine Ichthyic Toxic Red Tides
Lecturer:Tianjiu Jiang
About the Lecturer:Mr. Tianjiu Jiang, researcher and doctoral supervisor, is now a standing member of South China Sea Red Tide Society and a member of Biological Toxin Branch of Chinese Society of Toxicology. He mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research of marine pollution ecology, marine biological toxin and seafood safety, and has done a long-term systematic research on the temporal and spatial distribution, composition, main types of poison, monitoring and management of coastal red tide biological toxin in China. Jiang has published more than 200 papers, including 25 papers on SCI and EI, and won 12 national invention patents.
About the Lecture:Ichthyic toxic red tides organisms can produce a variety of toxic substances, causing to the near-shore cultured fish and shellfish to die in a short period of time, which poses a serious threat to China’s mariculture industry. Quick and efficient identification and diagnosis of red tides toxicity is the basis disaster management; however, this disaster management in China has been lack of timeliness and pertinence for a long time. Based on the theory that the toxicity of ichthyic toxin algae is closely related to its photosynthetic system, this report reveals the eigenvalue of ichthyic toxin algae chlorophyll, establishes 3D fluorescence identification technology of ichthyic toxicity algae, and provides theoretical and technical basis for developing ichthyic toxicity algae identification instrument.
