About the Lecturers:Bin Chen is the Executive Editor of university weekly under China Science Daily, and Zhikang Wang, a journalist of China Science Daily. China Science Daily is a national newspaper in the charge of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and co-sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and China Association for Science and Technology, which has high authority and influence in the industry. As senior journalists of China Science Daily, Chen and Wang work at the frontline of news gathering and editing, thus they have rich experience of newspaper gathering and editing and news photography. News Center invites them to give this lecture for Journalism majors and news photography fan.
The report is the 5thlecture of “Together with famous journalists” conducted by YSU News Center. “Together with famous journalists” activity invites journalists to share stories about news at YSU irregularly, aiming to enrich the cultural ambience and improve the vocational level of student journalists.
