Lecturer Introduction: Wei Chongxin, Doctorof Fudan University, now is the Dean of School of Chinese Language andLiterature, PhD supervisor of comparative literature and cross-cultural studies,Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). His main research fields includeancient Chinese literature and comparative literature. He was selected as the “ExcellentTeacher in Beijing” in 2004.
Scientific research project Undertaken: Hehas presided over a National Social Science Fund Project “Study on AncientChinese Novels and Gender”, and project “Overseas Transmission andInfluence of Chinese Classics”—a sub-project of MoE’s major project of philosophy and socialsciences “Overseas Transmission and Influence of Chinese Literature”.
