Topic:Vibration Analysis and Design of Aircraft Hydraulic System
Lecturer:Jiao Zongxia
Lecturer introduction:Jiao Zongxia is one of the Chang Jiang (Yangtze River) Scholars Chair Professors, Outstanding Youths, chief scientists of the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), national excellent scientist, expert elected for New Century Talents Project enjoying the special government allowance, and he once won Science and Technology Award of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation. Jiao has won seven Science and Technology Award at the provincial and ministerial level, and has 50 patents, 6 software copyrights, 2 monographs, 90 SCI index papers and more than EI index 200 papers.
Jiao has been engaged in the research of aircraft hydrodynamic control and equipment for more than 30 years and systematically established the nonlinear control theory of electrohydraulic servo system, making breakthroughs in the key technologies such as high efficiency braking of aircraft, control of hydraulic system and electrohydraulic load simulator and realizes intergenerational development and batch equipment. Jiao, as the first author, has won three national awards including two for invention and one for progress. His results have been applied to more than 10 kinds of aircrafts includinglarge passenger aircrafts, large transport airplanes, and third and fourth generation of advanced fighters, which covers aerospace main battle equipment. His academic part-time jobs involve: member of State Council Disciplinary Review Group, commissioner of International Electro Technical Commission, Director of Electromechanical Branch of Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and he served as the president of IEEE international conferences for 7 times and the founder of IEEE/CSAA International Conference onAviationMechatronic Engineering.
Lecture introduction: Known as the “blood vessel and the muscle” of aircrafts, the hydraulic system is vital to the operation of the aircraftwith energy supply from the hydraulic systemand the energy transmission from the hydraulic pipeline. As the hydraulic pipe develops towards the environment at the high pressure and high speed, there is a higher standard for avoiding the vibration of hydraulic system. A Russian expert points out that it is as difficult to remove the vibration caused bythe high pressure of the hydraulic system as to solve sound barrier decades ago. The failure of the structure, seal and parts caused by the vibration of pipeline seriously affects the safety of flight. Prof. Jiao Zongxia’s report will be focused on the in-depth analysisof vibration of aircraft hydraulic system with an example of aircraft hydraulic braking system, and explain measures to eliminate the vibrationand methodsto optimize the design of the hydraulic system.
All teachers and students are welcome!
