Lecturer Introduction
Hu Min, a well-known expert in English education and teaching management. He is a scholar studying in the UK, a MA supervisor at Shandong Normal University, and a part-time professor at Nanjing Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, and Central China Normal University. Judege of the National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition of the Youth League of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and member of the expert committee of the “Belt and Road” Collaborative Development Action Center of the Central College of Chinese Youth. He was granted several wards including the second prize of the 5th Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, and the British Cultural Association's Global “IELTS 20 at 20”among others.
Lecture Content
The concept of “global competence” was first proposed by the American International Educational Exchange Association in 1988. It aims to help students increase their connection with the world, understand the changes in the world, and effectively participate in global competition to the 21st century. In this lecture, Prof. Hu Min will start with his understanding of global competence and the qualities that future college students need to have, comprehensively analyzes how to cultivate students' international vision and world thinking, and become the talent meeting the world’s expectations.
