[News from the News Center] Recently, the first Rope Skipping Competition of Hebei Province organized by the Hebei Province Rope Skipping Association and hosted by Shijiazhuang University was held in Shijiazhuang. This competition had attracted 200 contestants of 18 representative teams from our province. Our university sent a team composed of 11 students and coached by teacher Zhu Jun to the competition.
In the competition, YSU pattern rope-skipping team has achieved excellent results in all competitions, including speed, pattern and team competitions. We won the first place in the men's and women's groups in the 30s singles, and 15 championships in the personal pattern, the double pattern primary group, the intermediate group, the advanced group, and the small collective self-editing competitions.

Pattern rope-skippingis a traditional characteristic sports project of our university, and it is an important event of YSU Sunshine Sports. This sports has attracted increasingly more students, and accordingly the attention and supports from our university, particularly, the teachers from the School of Physical Education. Our teachers and students strive to improve our competition and cultivate a first-class team at national level.
