[News from the News Center] Recently, the design work of the “Innovation Design for All Scenarios” initiated by the Design Education Branch of China Industrial Design Association (CIDA) and COSMOPlat, the design work of YSU School of Art and Design won the excellent design grant.
Some design projects
The selection of this incentive course design project aims to encourage participants to design works which can help fight against the epidemic. YSU School of Art and Design has organized a group focusing on the development of a series of projects which are closely related to epidemic contain. The 21 projects involve the designs of waste recycling vehicles, tableware disinfection machine, disinfection robots, commodity check-out sterilizers, etc. The work submitted highlights their practicality and convenience in the work of disinfection.YSU among other 5 universities including Zhejiang University and Jiangnan University receive the grant for outstanding design. These works will be displayed on the internet seeking industrial cooperation.
YSU School of Art and Design has developed a well-rounded design curriculum which is an integration of theory and practice of industrial design aiming to serve the social development and the needs of our country. Students’ innovative ability has been improved accordingly. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the school has actively encouragedstudents to assume the responsibilities and design epidemic contain related products in order to meet the urgent needs of society.
