【News from News Center】Baoquan Wang, an YSU Russian major, won the prize for Innovative Adaption of Film Plot in International Russian Olympics held from Mar. 29thto Apr. 20th. It is reported that only 16 out of over 1000 students from over 50 countries won prizes after intense competition.

An online test, the contest is divided into 2 phases. In the first phase, judges select students according to the results of their online tests. In the second phase, selected students are required to take oral test. All the Russian majors of YSU took part in the first phase. Baoquan Wang won prize with the guide of foreign teacher of the Department of Russian,маринародионова.
Hosted by National Pushkin Russian Academy and undertaken by Altai State Technical University, the contest provided Russian learners a good platform and promoted the communication between China and Russia’s Universities.
