[News from News Center] On May 27th, the inaugural conference of University High-Tech Parks Alliance in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, namely Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei University High-Tech Park Innovation and Development Conference was held successfully in Baoding. 200 people from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region Science and Technology Commission and Education Commission, representatives of 19 University High-Tech Parks in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, representatives of each committee, office, bureau of Baoding Hi-Tech Zone, and representative of enterprises in Baoding National University High-Tech Park attended the conference. YSU High-Tech Park was elected Deputy Director Unit of the Alliance. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei University High-Tech Parks Alliance is a regional team composed of a total of 19 High-Tech parks by national universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Tianjin University, and YSU. Beihang University High-Tech Park was elected Director Unit of the Alliance. On the conference, Jianping Mei, Vice Inspector of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Jianhua Zhang, Director of Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education; Meng Mei, Director of China University High-Tech Parks Alliance, and other leaders made speeches. The leaders congratulated the establishment of the alliance and fully affirmed the alliance’s significance on the integrated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and Xiongan New Area put forward by President Xi Jinping. They hope the alliance will integrate all resources to contribute to the economic development in Beijing-Tianjing-Hebei Region.

The establishment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei University High-Tech Parks Alliance was highly evaluated by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Hebei Department of Science and Technology, and other national and regional science and education departments; and supported by 19 High-Tech Parks and other alliances. Participants discussed new mechanism for High-Tech Parks in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region to work together to improve innovation and entrepreneurship service and promote economic development in this region. This conference is a milestone for High-Tech parks to serve national and regional economic development.
Participants also communicated with the leaders of of Xiongan New Area Administrative Committee, and had an understanding of the current situation in Xiongan New Area, and how they could cooperate to support the development of Xiongan New Area.
