[News from News Center] On the morning of June 20th, 2017 YSU Alumni Counsellors Recruitment Ceremony was held in the Lecture Hall of the Century Building. 54 graduates from 17 YSU schools were appointed Alumni counsellors. YSU Vice President Xiangdong Kong, Director of Student Affairs Office Mingli Zhang, Deputy Director of Admissions and Career Development Services Zhien Feng, Director of Alumni Office Honglei Sun, Deputy Director of Alumni Office Tiejun Ke, attended the ceremony. Tiejun Ke hosted the ceremony.
Director Honglei Sun read No. 12 document from YSU Alumni OfficeRecruitmentofYSU Alumnicounsellors. Leaders issued Letters of Employment to the counselors. Alumni Office prepared business card cases with YSU logo for all the counselors, hoping that they will represent YSU.
On behalf of the alumni counselors, Wenbo Dong who graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering delivered a speech. He promised that he would shoulder the duties, bridging YSU and class of 2017.
Vice President Kong, on behalf of YSU, paid tribute to all the faculty and students for their contribution to the Alumni. Confirming the significance of the Alumni, he put forward his expectations of counselors: fulfill responsibilities to connect YSU and alumni; focus on publicize YSU development, collect alumni suggestions, and expand Alumni influence. All graduates should remember that YSU is always a big family.
