YSU Leaders Visited 1st YSU Education Assistance Group of Graduate Students in Qinghai Province

[News from News Center] From August 9thto 10th, Sheng Huang, YSU Vice President; Xida Li, Secretary of YSU Youth League Committee; and Xingzhou Cai, Secretary of Party Committee of YSU School of Mechanical Engineering, visited 1stYSU Education Assistance Group in Delhi City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.

On August 9th, YSU leaders met Huajie Wang, Secretary of Qinghai Communist Youth League; and Qing Ran, Deputy Secretary of Qinghai Communist Youth League. Over the meeting, Qinghai Communist Youth League highly praised the Group, promised to support it in an all-round way, and expected a long-term and all-sided cooperation with YSU.

On August 10th, YSU leaders, in company with Zhipeng Xu, Secretary of CCYL Committee of Delhi; Xuejing Yang, Secretary of Party Committee of Delhi Education Bureau; Leiming Ren, Director of Student Affairs Office of Delhi No.2 middle school; visited Delhi No.2 middle school where the Education Assistance Group works. YSU leaders had a thorough understanding of local climate conditions, school infrastructures, and school teaching features. They also visited the Group members’ dormitory to know the details of their daily lives, and meanwhile, giving new expectations to them.

The Youth League Committee leaders and Education Bureau of Delhi expressed their sincere gratitude to the Group, and said that they would continue to support the Group with all strength, and that they would seek exchanges and cooperation with YSU in a more broad way. Meanwhile, Vice President Sheng Huang expected to make full use of YSU talents, technology and education resources in order to provide more support to the development of Delhi's Communist Youth League and education, thus contributing to the construction of a beautiful Qaidam.

The 1stYSU Education Assistance Group includes Xiangduan Zeng from the School of Vehicle and Energy, Yueqi Song from the School of Electrical Engineering, and Zhen Li from the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering. Selected exam-exempted graduate candidates from YSU class of 2017, they started their one-year voluntary teaching in Delhi city, Qinghai Province this July. The selection and training of 2018 YSU Education Assistance Group will start in September. (Translated by Sai Wang)
