[News from News Center] Recently, the results of the 12thHebei Social Sciences Outstanding Young Experts selection were announced. YSU Prof. Sannan Zhang from School of Humanities and Law was awardedthe title of “Outstanding Young Expert of Social Science in Hebei Province”; Prof. Yetao Liu was awarded“Jury’s Special Mention Award”; besides, YSU won the“Excellent Organization Award”.
Prof. Sannan Zhang mainly studies national politics. He hosted 2 projects of National Social Science Fund of China, and won the Second Prize and the Third Prize of Outstanding Achievements of Social Sciences in Hebei Province.
Prof. Yetao Liu mainly studies modern logics and analytical philosophy. He hosted onepost-funded project of National Social Science Fund of China, and won the Third Prize of Outstanding Achievements of Social Sciences in Hebei Province.
Social Sciences Outstanding Young Experts in Hebei Province are selected every two years, aimed to select and train outstanding young social sciences talents, promote discipline and team construction, encourage academic research theoretical innovation. The selection has become an important platform to demonstrate the comprehensive strength of young scholars, and an important cradle for training excellent talents of social sciences.
