[News from News Center] On Nov. 18th, Hebei “Century Star” Foreign Language Speech Competition, sponsored by Education Department of Hebei Province and Hebei Advisory Board for Foreign Languages Teaching in Colleges and Universities, was held in Development Zone Campus of Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology. A total of 427 competitors from 102 colleges and universities in Hebei Province participated in the competition. Qijie Sun, a Japanese major from YSU School of Foreign Studies, won the First Prize of Japanese Majors Student Group by virtue of fluent and authentic language expression, novel and refined statement, and calm and sagacious on-the-spot performance.
