YSU wins awards in "National University Science and Technology H5 Competition"

[News from the news center] Recently, the results of the second "National University Science and Technology H5 Competition" sponsored by the China Science Daily were announced. The “Shuishui (Water)’s Fantasy Trip”, a joint project created by the Chen He from the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering and Cao Fulin from School of Mechanical Engineering was awarded the third prize. At the same time, YSU won the "Organization Award".

In order to steer the society at large into the science popularization cause, to stimulating the enthusiasm of university young researchers to engage in science work, to exploring the potential of college young students in the context of new media communications, and to increasing public awareness and acceptance of new science and technology. The China Science Daily joint with Southwest Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Beijing Forestry University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University News and Cultural Communication Research Institute, YSU, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University launched the second competition ofNational University Science and Technology H5 Competitionin September 2017. Since the start of the contest there have been 664 entries from 222 colleges/universities across the country are submitted. After the initial review, intermediate review, and the final review by the experts, 3 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 10 third prizes, and 20 excellent prizes were selected.
