The evening party began with the dance by language intermediate class one. The song “Maya tumi to amarnouchena” by Bangladeshi students showed their love for the motherland; the Poetry recitation and the song by Russian students expressed their homesickness; the song “Chengdu” by Pakistani student Liu Xingchen expressed his miss for Chengdu; the recitation“Write to Mother”by Indonesian student was full of emotion; the song “là bas” by Malagasy and Ivory Coast’s students was very touching; the song by Pakistani student “We’re different”praised thefriendship between people from different countries; singing the songs “Say something” and “Perfect” by German student Li Yade, third-prize winner of YSU campus singing competition,pushed the party to the climax. Besides, the dances “Jutt Pakistani” and “SheediBadshah” by Pakistani students, the dance “Wonderful Indonesia” by Indonesian students, and Uzbekistan dance were also attracting and the audience were excited and danced with the actors on the stage. Finally, the party ended in the song “Hawthorn Tree” by the teachers of the School of International Exchange.
The gala was planned and prepared by teachers with foreign student cadres from the East Campus and the West. The hosts of the evening were all international students,with mainly Chinese supplemented by English. The galagained popularity among the students, which not only enriched the cultural life of the students in their spare time, but also deepened the exchanges and feelings between the students from the East campus and the West.
