[News from the News Center] Recently, the results of 2019 National College Student Computer Design Competition in Hebei Province were announced. YSU recommended 20 groups of works to participate in the provincial competition in Hebei Province. 3 groups won the first prize, 4 groups won the second prize, 7 groups won the third prize. The seven groups of the first prize and the second prize will be recommended to national competition. The organization and selection of this event were conducted by the Academic Affairs Office and the Software Engineering Department of the School of Information Science and Engineering.
2019 National College Student Computer Design Competition in Hebei Province was hosted by the Organizing Committee of the College Computer Design Competition of the Ministry of Education and the Computer Teaching Steering Committee from 2018 to 2022. The competition was founded in 2008 and has successfully held 52 competitions in 11 sessions. More than half of the university’s undergraduate students, more than half of the former 211 universities, and more than half of the former 985 universities participated in this event. In the form of competition, the contest guides students to participate in extracurricular science and technology activities, stimulate students’ interest and potential in learning computer knowledge and skills, and develop comprehensive practical ability and innovative entrepreneurial ability to use information technology to solve practical problems.
