Talent Cultivation

Civil Engineering (2012, 2017), and Architectural Environment and Energy Application Engineering (2019) are two specialty areas that have received the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development’s accreditation. Engineering Mechanics and Civil Engineering were selected in the “Double Ten-Thousand Plan” for first-class undergraduates with a special emphasis on the development of Hebei Province.

The school has successively won two first prizes, four second prizes, two third prizes in the Teaching Achievement Award, as well as prizes for three provincial quality courses. During the past five years, students have had outstanding achievements, winning awards in college student science and technology activities, including three national second prizes, one third prize, as well as three provincial special prizes and two provincial first prizes among others. The school now has 1577 undergraduates and 307 masters and PhD students.
