Overview

1. The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (DSSH) is an administrative department providing services for the university’s Social Sciences and Humanities research activities. DSSH is responsible for policy development, the management of research projects, and the university popularity.

2. Social sciences and humanities research planning and the implementation;

3. The development of relevant policies in social sciences and humanities research, social services, academic exchanges among others;

4. The application of research projects at different levels and project management including the national and international project’s verification and management;

5. The popularity and application of the research achievements of social sciences and humanities;

6. Building and organizing YSU research centers of Social Sciences and Humanities;

7. Connecting government departments, enterprises and institutions for planning and construction of Social Sciences and Humanities Tanks of the university to serve the society;

8. The organizing the academic exchange activities of Social Sciences and Humanities at home and abroad, and constantly promote the academic exchanges;

9. The annual statistics of Social Sciences and Humanities research activities, maintaining the research management system, and compiling various yearbooks for the university;

10. Other management services.
