[News from the News Center] YSU 2019postgraduate graduation and degree awarding ceremonywas held at the East Campus Student Activity Center. Party Secretary Zhao Xianfeng, President Zhao Dingxuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Huang Sheng, Vice President Zhao Yongsheng, Wang Baocheng, Ren Jiadong, Wang Desong, Chen Guoqiang among others attended the awarding ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by the Dean of the Graduate School, Guan Yingping.

Meng Fanchao from theSchool of Information Science and Engineeringrepresenting the graduates sincerely thanked his alma mater and the supervisors for their education. Prof. Gao Dawei, a doctoral supervisor of theSchool of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, spoke on behalf of the supervisors. He expressed his sincere hope for the graduates who are about to leave the campus. He hoped that they would work hard and be realistic in the new life journey in the future.

Zhao Dingxuan made a speech at the ceremony entitled “Being a decent graduate with aspirations and responsibility”. Together with the graduates, he reviewed the outstanding achievements of our university in the development of education in recent years. The achievements have fully demonstrated YSU’s spirit of “Valuing Virtue, Pursuing Knowledge, and Seeking Truth” realized by the YSU faculty and staff as well as the majority of graduates. Zhao Dingxuan hoped that the graduates have strong belief in scientific socialism and the understanding of the connotation of patriotism, and make due contributions to the development of the country.
