The iF Design Award, abbreviated as "iF", was established in 1953. The award is held by the iF Industrie Forum Design Hannover in Germany. It is one of the oldest, most authoritative and influential design awards in the world. The entries are evaluated based on the core criteria of "innovation, practicality, aesthetic value, and social significance". The iF Design Award is known to be one of the top three design awards in the world, alongside the Red Dot Award and IDEA Award. It's also hailed as the "Oscar Award of the Design World" and the "Olympic Award for Product Design". The winning works represent the pinnacle of global design excellence.
