[News from the News Center] From November 18-20, at the Annual Meeting of 2019 Hebei Library Association, theeminentunits in “The national reading activity” and “The sixth service innovation case competition” were awarded. In the 6th Library Service Innovation Case Contest organized by the Library Society of Hebei Province, the two entries of our university won the first prize and the third prize respectively: “University Library Unique Patent Navigation Service Model-Taking Yanshan UniversityRolled Strip Research CenterService Practice as an Example” and “Research on the Innovation of Service Model of Active Learning Space in University Library”.

The awards of the two cases are, on the one hand, affirmation of the work of the library, and on the other hand, it also reflects the library's service in improving the service system, innovating the service model, improving service efficiency and user satisfaction. In recent years, the library keeps pace with the development of the society, focusing on the development strategy of our university and center work, and actively applies for the establishment of the Yanshan University Intellectual Property Information Service Center, which is committed to providing our university the innovative ability to support the construction of“Double-First Class” university.
2019 Annual Meeting of Hebei Library Association is under the guidance of Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, jointly sponsored by the Hebei Library Association and the Hebei Provincial Library, and hosted by the Hebei Medical University Library.
