Faculty

MSE has now 110 faculties, among them there are 62 professors (52 doctoral supervisors), 10 associate professors. MES has one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, five scholars selected in Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Scholars program, seven selected in the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars program, two entitled the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, one selected in the National Ten-thousand Talents Program, one in the National Top Young Talents Program, and six in the New Century Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents program. MSE now is attended by 1427 students, among them there are 820 undergraduates, 454 postgraduates, 153 PhD candidates, and 10 overseas students.
