Talent Cultivation

TheSVE now is attended by 1334 undergraduates, and 217postgraduatesand PhD candidates. In recent years, the school has won one first prize and one second prize for Teaching Achievements. Students participated in a variety of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and have won more than 12 national first prizes, 15 second prizes, 28 third prizes, as well as 8 provincial first prizes, 30 second prizes, and 10 third prizes.

Students majoring in Vehicle Engineering independently developed a racing car and an energy-saving car, and participated in the following competitions: the “Formula Student China” and “Honda China Energy-saving Car Competition”. Furthermore, students majoring in Petroleum Engineering have successively participated in the “China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition”,students won awards in all of these competitions.

TheSVEis committed to teaching reforms and innovation, and is laying a solid theoretical foundation and developing a strong practical ability as well as an innovative spirit. The annual employment rate of undergraduates continues to be above 93%.
