The performance was divided into threesessions. The first chapter focused on the establishment of the initial mission and a new era for the Chinese nation. The songs reviewed the development and the growth of the Party from itsfounding in years of revolutionary struggle. The second chapter concentrated on how we held the initial mission firmly in mind and made miraculous development. The performances showed the glorious course of China from the revolution to the reform and opening up, and to the new era of socialist construction. The third chapter reflected that we should uphold the original mission and thus realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation. The songs expressed the longing for abetter life of YSU teachers and students and the love for the motherland. Love, sing the great achievements of the motherland’s construction since the 18thNational Congress of CPC, showing our determination to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The performancereviewed the glorious history of the Party with the lovely songs, graceful dance, and full enthusiasm. Besides, it called on the students and the teachers to rally closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, remain true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, and forge ahead to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation as well as the goal of building YSU into a “world-renowned research university”.
