【News from News Center】Recently,hosted by “Institute of Energy Storage Engineering of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China(IESE-CIESC)” and organized bythe School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering at YSU, “2016 Super Capacitor Key Materials and Technology Conference” was successfully held at YSU.More than 120 Experts and graduates in the field of super capacitor from more than 40 colleges and universities, research institutes, enterprises such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, Tianjin University, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, PLA Institute of Chemical Defense, Tianjin Pulan Energy Co., Ltd., attended the conference，including over 10 Yangtze River Scholars and winners of the Thousand Talents Plan and the National Outstanding Youth Fund.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Faming Gao, Dean of the School of Environment and Chemical Engineering, YSU and Yangtze River Scholar. The conference promoted technology development and the industry of super capacitor key materials. The high-level exchange platform has been set up which will increase the understanding of YSU among the academic circles and raise the academic reputation and influence of YSU. This conference is of great significance for YSU in coping with challenges from both industrial restructuring & upgrading and emerging industries, thus promoting the "Double First-class" construction.
