On December 15, 4th China- CEEC SME Cooperation Forum, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Hebei Provincial People's Government, opened in Cangzhou. Ni Yuefeng, Secretary of CPC Heibei Provincial Committee, announced the opening of the forum by video, and Wang Zhengpu, Deputy Secretary of CPC Heibei Provincial Committee and Governor, delivered a speech via video. In his speech, Zhao Xianfeng emphasized that education, science & technology and talents are closely related. For the first time, the report of the 20th National Congress of CPC made a "trinity" overall arrangement and integrated deployment of education, S&T and talents, giving education, especially higher education, a new strategic position and historical mission. He said that Yanshan University (YSU) was founded in response to the industrial layout of New China. Nurtured by the spirit of black soil and nourished by Yan-Zhao culture, YSU has always adhered to the initial intention and mission of "casting a national treasure with ingenuity and cultivating the talents unswervingly", and is committed to strengthening university-locality cooperation and promoting the transformation of S&T achievements in Hebei. YSU will take this forum as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of talents and S&T, promote the high-quality development of China-CEEC SME Cooperation Zone (Cangzhou), and contribute to the implementation of Chinese-style modernized Hebei prospect and the comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country.
