In order to further improve its global partnership network, Yanshan University recently signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Hawaiʻi (Kapiʻolani Community College) to formally establish a friendly university relationship. Under the agreement, the two sides will realize educational resource complementation through close communication.
The two universities signed the agreement after more than six months of consultation. According to the agreement, Yanshan University and the University of Hawaiʻi will jointly promote cooperation in sharing high-quality curriculum resources, teacher-student exchanges, joint meetings and joint scientific research. The two universities are both located in coastal tourist cities. The establishment of the cooperative relationship will help Yanshan University learn from the experience of the University of Hawaiʻi in developing high-quality educational resources through high-quality tourism resources, enrich the educational resources of tourism management and other majors, and explore the possibility of establishing overseas teaching practice bases. The agreement will also help promote the mutual exchange and learning between Qinhuangdao and Hawaii, and build Qinhuangdao into a world-class tourist city.
