About the Reporter:
Wenping Liang, researcher, began his undergraduate study in 1977 and graduate study in 1981 in the Chemistry Department at Beijing University; studied colloid and interface chemistry in the UK from Oct. 1989 to Jan. 1998; received his Ph.D. from the British Imperial College of Science in 1994; pursued his post-doctorate at ZenecaAgro chemicals from 1994 to 1995; did Reasearch Fellow at Kiel University in the UK from Mar. 1995 to Jan. 1998. Mr. Liang returned to China in Feb. 1998, and was employed researcher and dissertation advisor with Institute of Photographic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was transferred to the Department of Chemical Engineering, the National Natural Science Foundation in Nov. 1999, and was appointed Deputy Director of the department.
