About the Lecturer:Ph.D., researcher, and doctoral supervisor, Yuanzhuo Wang is also the Deputy Director of Scientific Research Department, Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Director of Open Knowledge Computing, and Assistant Director of National Engineering Laboratory of Big Data Analysis System. Meanwhile, he also serves as senior member of Chinese Computer Federation, and member of several committees, including: Chinese Big Data Experts Committee, Specialized Committee of Insurance Promotion Based on Medical Health Big Data under Chinese Health Information Association, China National Standardization Technical Committee and IEEE Communication and Information Security Technical Committee. Besides, he is also assessment expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Plan, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, Beijing Municipal Commission of Information Technology and National Information Security Platform. He was also the author or co-author of the 2013, 2014 and 2015Reports: Chinese Big Data Technology and Industrial Development.
Main Research Fields:online big data analysis, open knowledge computing, social evolution analysis, internet and information security. He hosted more than 20 national scientific research programs, and published 5 academic monographs and more than 150 articles on international key journals including Plos One, ACM/IEEE Trans and at international key conferences including AAAI，WWW，CIKM，ICNP. He has applied for 41 national patents of innovation. Many of his research results have been put into practice in key national departments and key enterprises like Huawei. He won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, Beijing Science and Technology Award and 3 first-class academic society awards. He was selected into the Talent Plan of Youth Innovation Promotion Association, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Talent Plan of Beijing Science and Technology Star.
About the Report: Firstly, the lecturer will introduce the main application requirements of social network, research background and implications. Next, he will introduce research elements of social network: internet structure, information spreading and group behavior, and the interaction of these elements in the evolution. Besides, he will also introduce the theory of social evolutionary game model and its major analysis methods in typical application contexts. Application cases will be given about competitive information spreading, intergroup behavior analysis and multi-network consuming behavior prediction in social networks and consuming networks like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, eBay, Sina Weibo and Wechat.
