About the lecturer:Jun Wang, who graduated with a doctoral degree in Law from School of International Studies, Peking University, now is a professor, doctoral dissertation supervisor, and the Director of Legal Affairs Office at Hebei Normal University. He was one of the first batch selected into Hebei New Century Program for One Hundred Talents, one of the sixth Batch of Young and Middle-aged Excellent Teachers in Hebei, a visiting scholar to the University of Alabama in the US. He also serves as an adjunct professor of Hebei Education Committee Party School, the Director of Chinese Association for History of International Communist Movement, and the Director of Hebei United Front Society. Mainly engaged in the research of Western Political system, Western Democracies, and European and Americanpolitics, economy, and diplomacy, he has published over 30 academic papers in World Economics and Politics and Chinese Journal of European Studies, and 5 books. He translated Descartes, The Shape of Democracy Theories, Politics andSocietyand other works. He also hosted projects by National Social Sciences and the Ministry of Education.
