Lecturer Profile:

You Shuyang, Ph.D. in Management (Nanjing University), is currently a lecturer at the School of Business Administration of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Director of the Center for Organizational and Management Theory. He is a member of the American Institute of Management (AOM), member of the International Association for Management Studies (IACMR), regional liaison, and director of the China Local Management Research and Theory Building Forum. In recent years, he has published more than 10 papers in management and organization reviews, "Management World" and other domestic and foreign journals. He has published / participated in the publication of 3 papers. The research results won the 2015 Emerald Citation of Excellence Award and the second prize of the 7th University Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences). He is an anonymous reviewer of academic journals such as "Foreign Economy and Management", "Management Quarterly", "Management Journal", "Nanda Business Review", and anonymous review of domestic and international academic conferences such as AOM and IACMR. He is currently presiding over the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participating in the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Research interests include institutional entrepreneurship, institutional complexity, organizational learning, knowledge cluster evolution, and innovation capabilities.

Lecture Content:

The basic difference between the qualitative research paradigm and the quantitative research paradigm—the report, taking the recent development of the two chapters on "Social Identity and Emotional Mechanisms in Institutional Entrepreneurship" and "How to Discuss Regulatory Roles in Organizational and Management Studies--Models and Evidences" Sexual research for example, will elaborates on the general process of problem-solving, research design, data collection, data analysis, and theoretical construction in qualitative research, and introduces how to use qualitative research to contribute to the development of theory.
