Speaker Introduction
Prof. Lu Zhi, receiving his Ph.D. fromGuangdong University of Foreign Studies, is a professor, doctoral tutor, and research fellow of Guangdong Provincial Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Reading in 2000-2001, a senior scholar at Griffith University and the University of Sydney in 2005, a senior visiting scholar at the University of Michigan in 2013, and Senior Visiting Scholar at Kent State University, USA in 2018. In 2008, he was appointed as a doctoral tutor in applied linguistics at Jinan University. He used to serve as the Dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Jinan University and Dean of the School of Foreign Languages of Ningbo University.
He has published more than 60 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, such as Cortex, Brain and Language, System, Cross Languages and Cultures, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Foreign Languages, Modern Foreign Languages, and Contemporary Linguistics among other textbook compilation and projects at different levels. He is also the reviewer of some committees and projects as well as the peer reviewer of some journals.
