Speaker Introduction
Professor Xiao Guiqing, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism of Tsinghua University, is a doctoral tutor, the chief expert of the study on Marxist theory and construction, a reviewer of the National Social Science Fund selection, the associate head of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Marxist Theory Major of the Ministry of Education, and the Deputy Secretary of the Marxist Theory Research Institute of the National University. He is a visiting researcher at the Marxist Chinese Studies Department of the Marxist Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and an adjunct professor at several universities in China. He was awarded the title of National Excellent Teacher and National Excellent College of Ideological and Political Theory. He has presided over many research projects at different levels and published more than 10 academic monographs and textbooks in Marxist Studies as well as over 160 papers.
Lecture Content
The lecture will share some achievements and basic experience of the ideological and political theory courses and the construction of Marxist theoretical disciplines since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and discuss the problems existing in these two aspects, especially how to implement the spirit of the relevant documents of the central government in the construction of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.
