Speaker Introduction
Prof.Ma Baobin, a doctoral supervisor at the Capital University of Economics and Business, is a Distinguished Professor of Changbai Mountain Scholar of Jilin Province, and Distinguished Professor of Jilin University. His research interests involve the administrative reform and governance of government. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Denver and Cleveland State University. He is also a member of the Public Administration Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the National Public Administration Professional Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee, a member of the China Administrative Management Society, a member of the China Administrative System Reform Research Association, and a Director and Deputy secretary-general of the Jilin Provincial Administrative Management Association. He is the Vice President of Jilin Province Institute of Organizational Management and the Executive Director of the Jilin Provincial Political Society. He also serves as a part-time professor at more than 10 universities in China. He has published 4 monographs, co-authored 9 books, compiled or edited 14 textbooks, and published more than 150 academic papers. He has presided over more than 50 projects at various levels.
The lecture will start from the related concepts and theories of social justice, and puts forward the theoretical propositions from the traditional social justice to the modern social justice, and then based on the data of two national questionnaires, points out the main characteristics of the current public justice concept in China, and discusses the concept of justice and possible path to transformation.
