Lecturer Introduction
Prof. Liu Hongyan was born in 1984 in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province. He received his PhD from Kyushu University, Japan, and serve as a Japanese teacher at Yanshan University. His main research interests: Chinese-Japanese non-natural language contact, the diachronic evolution of Japanese grammar, and literature linguistic research based on Chinese training. He has presided over scientific research projects such as the General Humanities and Social Science Research Project of the Ministry of Education, the Hebei Province Social Science Fund Project, and the Key Projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Universities of Hebei Province.
Lecture Content
At the beginning of research activities, young teachers and graduate students often face the problem of selecting research topics. Choosing a valuable topic is the key to whether future scientific research activities are sustainable. This report will show the problems that may be encountered in the choice of scientific research through practical experience and cases, and then explore the elements and conditions required in the development of independent scientific research capabilities. The report will also discuss some topics such as research topic selection, research design in the field of foreign languages and literature.
