[News from News Center] On the afternoon of May 16th, YSU and National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids jointly held the Seminar for Rehabilitation and Health Care Technique (YSU session of China·Qinhuangdao Conference for Health Care Industry and Rehabilitation Aids Technology) in the Academic Report Room on 18thfloor of the 21stCentury Building. Attending the Seminar were part of the students and teachers of School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Economics and Management, School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, and School of Physical Education. The seminar was hosted by YSU Vice President Xiangdong Kong.

Firstly, Vice President Kong welcomed the experts and guests for academic exchange, and introduced YSU researches on health care industry and rehabilitation aids technology. Then, he introduced respectively to the seminar the experts from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Affiliated Hospital of National Research Center for Rehabilitation Technical Aids, Hebei University of Technology, Key Laboratory ofRehabilitation Aids Technologyand System of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and Changzhou University.
Experts gave lectures on five themes: Research Outline of Exoskeleton Technology, Rehabilitation Discipline Construction Based on the Integration of Medicine, Nursing and Health, Research and Development of Rehabilitation Engineering, Link Analysis of Multiband Effect Based on Near Infrared Spectrum for Stroke Patient, and Individualized Design and Manufacturing of Body Airway Stent Based on Biomechanical Analysis. After the seminar, part of the attendees visited Qinhuangdao Contec Medical Systems Co., Ltd.
On the morning of that day,China·Qinhuangdao Conference for Health Care Industry and Rehabilitation Aids Technology was held in the First Conference Room of Taisheng Business Building at Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone. Attending the conference were YSU Vice President Xiangdong Kong, some students and teachers of relevant schools, and directors of School of Continuing Education and School of Science and Technology Research.
The conference enhanced YSU students and teachers’s understanding ofhealth care industry and rehabilitation aids technology, and promoted YSU researches.
