Zhongwei Jiang, Party Secretary of the School of Physical Education; and Xiaohui Li, Jing Gao and Yawei Wang, YSU teachers and coaches led the team. The athletes cheered with vitality and youth in the competition, which fully showed the cooperative, indomitable spirit of YSU students; and the positive, vigorous, fashionable charm of cheerleading.
Sponsored by Gymnastics Management Center under General Administration of Sports, Student Sports Association under the Ministry of Education, and undertaken by China Cheerleading Committee, the championship was held at the Dongli stadium in Tianjin, attracting 286 teams of more than 6600 athletes from 28 provinces, cities, autonomous regions and municipalities. It’s the largest and highest level event since the China Cheerleading Championship was held, representing the top level of cheerleading competition in China.
